Convenience of a Dry Erase Marker Holder

When a person is using a dry erase marker s/he will, at some point, likely have a need for a dry erase marker holder.  Regardless of how s/he is using the whiteboard—whether he is giving a presentation or teaching a class, for example — s/he would benefit from that marker holder for at least a short while.

Sure, a person could just put his whiteboard pens down on a nearby desk or some other such article of furniture in the room.  But, this is not a foolproof plan—many times this results in the markers rolling off onto the floor.  Some people choose to place their erasable markers in a pocket when they take a break from using the whiteboard.  This is not a good solution for most people, however, because it does not look very professional.  So, the only real solution is to use a dry erase marker holder.

A whiteboard marker holder is generally sold wherever markers for dry erase boards are sold.  They can be found at many office supply stores, mass merchandiser stores, and online business supply stores.  Many of the whiteboard marker holders that are sold are magnetic.  This is because quite a lot of whiteboards are, themselves, magnetic surfaces.  So, by having a holder that has a magnetic backing, a person is free to place the pen holder directly on the whiteboard surface.

Some people may not want to have a magnetic holder for their dry erase pens, though.  These people may not want dry erase marker holders to take up space on their whiteboard.  So, they may prefer one of the holders that is wall-mountable.  Or, some pay prefer the type of whiteboard pen holder that is held in the hand while using the whiteboard.

Whichever type of dry erase marker holder you chooses, using any type is better—and more professional—than using none. You may also consider a magnetic dry erase marker if you’re using a magnetic whiteboard for total simplicity and control.
